Plenty of noise, plenty of smoke, not much speed! I labelled this photo as "Climbing the Tennessee Pass, between Minturn and Leadville". Maybe someone knows a more accurate location.

A short westbound freight shatters the peace of a quiet fall morning at Glenwood Springs in October 1981, with 3106, 3062 and 3014 providing the audio.
Not as esthetically pleasing, but now history never-the-less. 3106 fills in for 5771 on the westbound Rio Grande Zephyr near Troublesome in June 1981, with Wilson McCarthy bringing up the rear.
