A group of Rio Grande tunnel motors have been fueled, sanded, and are ready for work at Helper Yard on March 14, 1999.

Rio Grande SD40T-2s No. 5405 and 5401 are point helpers, assigned to help the MRODV on the ascent to Soldier Summit on Aug. 13, 1998.
