FEC 103 departs after switching the Titusville ramp on a beautiful early spring morning with an all EMD consist including an FEC SD40-2, a GP38-2, and a GP40-2.

Three EMD's on this 204 this day. This train is a Tue - Sat run and typically turns up here between 8am and 10am.

It is usually a safe bet there will be a solid EMD lashup on 204.

Thankfully, #103 often sports all-EMD power on their runs. Most of this train is bound for Fort Pierce, but some cars will be set out here at the yard.

Little Champs! The 2nd of two trains brings us the very rare lashup of two SD40-2's on this GE railroad.

Is this 2014? Once again a solid and rare all EMD lashup on a thru FEC train including "For a Cure" specialty motor. EMD power has been turning up on the odd thru train as of late.

The water is high due to storm Nicole, as FEC 204 heads north with amazingly a 3 SD40-2 lashup on this GE railroad. EMD power on thru trains is rare but occasionally does happen on 103/204

Storm Nicole has already brought higher tides as three EMD's lead 204 across the tidewater. Pretty rare to get EMD leaders on thru trains.

Running with the NS Geometry Train ID, the FRA inspection car #216 heads north on FEC. The CSX motor led it south down to Miami on that other railroad.

The FEC 335 waits at City Point

Two of FEC's stylish horses "Little Champs" as called by fans await with unit train 335 at the massive Cemex plant. FEC 335 / 336 typically run overnight to and from the mine in Miami.

An FRA inspection train made an appearance today

FEC 720 takes a cut of intermodal from Hialeah yard to the port of Miami. The train is crossing Iris interlocking which is the southernmost diamond in Florida and possibly in the United States.
