Recently IAIS’ SD38-2’s have been put back into service and taken out of storage. Here we see 152, 153 and a GEVO duck under the Putnum elevator with PESI in tow on a sunny summer evening.

On a hot summer evening, BICB sits tied down at Silvis with a trusty SD38-2 and a GEVO while they wait for a crew to take it to Council Bluffs.
After a long haul up IAIS’s Peoria Sub, the early 2000s consist of newly reactivated SD38-2s, and a GP38, pull to a stop to flag a crossing aside this elevator, in the tiny town of Putnam.
