NYS&W local power sits idle on Thanksgiving Day in front of the local NYS&W office (within the box car).

Contemporaries in the form of a 1962-built GP18 and a 1965 Mercury Comet meet at the 1872-built Maywood Station. The event was a car show in conjunction with an open house at the station.

Two sets of NYS&W local power await their next assignment. GP18 1800 and GP20 2064 hold the main, while ex-PW B23-7 2300 and GP18 1804 are tied down on a yard track.

Idling away on MC-3, 1800 looks pretty good for beeing nearly 40 years old.

The WS8 has the 40+ year old GP18 #1800 on one end BDLX 2209 on the other while they rest for a brief moment on the MC tracks.
