A special WWII troop train with WWII era equipment and reenactors takes a ride through Niles Canyon on historic equipment

With code line wire & black widows, an almost timeless scene occurs here on the Niles Canyon Railway. This is the first time these units have been paired up in 7 years.

The first excursion of the day slides through the farmers crossing as it approaches Sunol with SP 5472 on the point.

Upon exiting yard limits at Brightside, SP 5472 and SP 5623 dash downhill into the depths of Niles Canyon, following approximately 5 minutes behind the daylight limited excursion.
