UP 5523 drags it's eastbound stack train into Colfax, CA in the morning light. After passing Colfax the tracks will swing to the right, cross I 80 at Long Ravine & climb up into Cape Horn.

UP 5523 North, with three GEVOs and a SD70ACe up front, slowly rolls downgrade through Caliente until the rear of the train clears the speed restriction for northbounds on the horseshoe curve.
