As Q351 races by, we catch a wave from the conductor. The opportunity to shoot this train in good light no longer exists, as it no longer runs to Chicago, instead terminating in Willard.
A 103 car loaded grain train heads towards Itasca. The train was loaded at Harvest States. It is seen here twisting through the Central Park neighborhood.
This is a BNSF coal train with all UP power.
