The Robertson Ready-Mix Rock train heads empty over the Los Angeles River on its way back to Cabazon after have dropped another load of rocks in Gardena.
On a relatively short train UP 8977, 8363, 5492, 6582, 7397, 6885 are up front. With 8904 on the rear DPU. I can only assume, this has to be a partly a power transfer.
