A duo of Union Pacific SD59MXs lead the eastbound Canyon Flyer out of the tunnel at James. Today's train consists of 17 carloads of old ties bound for Portola.
A couple of SD59MX units work a switch back as they return to the Oroville Yard from the Oroville Industrial lead. These units will grab the Canyon Flyer cars and tackle the Feather River Canyon.
