The White Pine job has returned with half dozen CN box cars as it rounds the turn into Bergland. With the White Pine Coppery Refinery permanently closed, these trains no longer run.

A weathered WC GP40 on the White Pine local and four CN box cars rest at North Bessemer MI for the next days crew.

The Wisconsin Central once performed interchange work with Chicago Rail Link at Union Pacific's Canal Street yard. Here a GP40/GP40/GP35M consist is making a CRL pickup there in 1991.

I waited nearly 45 minutes for the WC 3000, and it was running long hood forward. I guess its better than nothing, as these maroon and gold units are on borrowed time.
