Nearing its 40th birthday, SD38AC 867 leads a northbound train past a forlorn hardware store in the town of Fredonia south of Greenville.

Most of the remaining BLE SD38 fleet is seen here bringing another empty train back to P&C dock. The BLE is a year round operations check out photo 224658 to see this location in winter.

Spring has sprung on the BLE and it offers a nice contrast to the Bessemer's bright orange SD38s.
