Snow was melting off UP 5590 which had bucked snow drifts from ground blizzards on UP's Limon line. Empty unit coal train was headed for the Energy Mine in Colorado.

Ground blizzards created drifts on the east to west Kansas Pacific (UP's Limon line) the weekend of Feb 24-25. 5590 did it share of bucking the snow drifts.
