IC 1024 is wrapping its way around a curve just northwest of Decatur with train L554. The entire afternoon was dedicated to chasing this train from Clinton to Decatur.

The Springfield Local tip-toes down to the signal at CN Connection waiting for the NS dispatcher to line the train up so that the crew can work the Midstates potash plant.

"Hogger" This guy is an engineer and has the tat to prove it. Curiously, though he is seated on the wrong side of the locomotive, at least when this shot was taken.
