Since the termination of the CP 599 train from St. Paul to Glenwood, UP power rarely makes its way west of the cities on the CP. And even rarer still, is UP power going north from Glenwood. But s... (more)
Two bandits leading this train west provided the final treat on a day where I saw a lot of different power along the CP.
With fog off Lake Minnewaska providing some nice diffuse light, the 397 departs behind a lone SD60.
I'll take these any day over a new GE.
