Norfolk Southern's Erie-Lackawanna Heritage Unit leads a westbound Conrail local train from Oak Island, Newark through the cut in Perth Amboy. The train is bound for Browns Yard in Old Bridge.

Conrail's OI16 arrives at Browns Yard with a pair of ex-Erie-Lackawanna SD45-2 locomotives. NS 1705 is the second unit. The track in the foreground has since been removed.

Conrail OI16 is passing beneath the Bayway Avenue overpass, as the train arrives at Bayway Yard. The view is from the new pedestrian walkway alongside the Goethals Bridge.

Conrail's OI16 cruises south along the Garden State Secondary. Soon the train will arrive in Port Reading, where it will make a setoff, before proceeding to its terminus at Brown's Yard.
