Viewed from the confluence of the Potomac and Shenandoah Rivers, E816 heads west towards Cumberland with 7 engines including SD 80MACs 804 & 806 just emerging from the tunnel.

While taking this picture a fox darted out and paused on the ties of the passing siding. The fox continued across the tracks ahead of the E816 bound for Grafton.

E816 starts west from Cumberland over the Viaduct onto the Mountain Sub with empties.

E816 passes a classic installation of B&O CPLs on its way down Cranberry Grade.
