The Sesquicentennial Limited, a special train operated for the APTA scholarship fund, passes over a branch of the Manasquan River.
Just before clouds would roll in a cover the consist on the open part of the bridge, I got this shot of the whole train heading back north.
It could have been taken in the 1950's or 60's, but its 2006 and PRR E8's are hanging around the Bay Head Yard once again! The SUV is the only indication of the true date.
The PRR E8's lead the train over the Navesink River in Red Bank, NJ heading north back to Hoboken. The shot was taken from the Hubbard Ave. bridge.
