Memories of Norfolk & Western are brought to mind as two Wheeling & Lake Erie SD40-3's run long hood forward on trackage rights (NS, EX-N&W, EXX NKP) with a loaded ore train toward Bellevue.

A southbound loaded ore train runs along the Huron River as she heads toward Shinrock to get on the main to head west to Bellevue, Ohio.

After what seemed to be a long cold winter life comes back to the inland waters of Lake Erie. Here a pleasure boat heads for the dock as W&LE 641 with 58 loads of ore makes its way around the loop... (more)
