One of the last remaining few ex Southern GP38-2s leads G25 at Springfield, Ga. while running pure Southern Railway style: long hood forward.

G25 makes a mad dash back to Dillard Yard on the old S&A just outside of Springfield. The 5641 started out life as a GP38 for Penn Central in 1969.

A 54 car G25 pulls into the siding at Ardmore, Ga. on the old S&A with an ex Southern high hood GP38-2 still earning its keep.
