Conductor JWill takes IANR's Oelwein turn northbound just outside of Dunkerton, IA at E Big Rock Rd on ex-CGW trackage on the D&W Railroad's Oelwein Subdivision (operated by IANR).

The Iowa Northern leaves the D&W at Dewer, Iowa for the UP from here to Waterloo, where the UP retained ownership of an island of track to serve John Deere and other important Waterloo shippers.

The Oelwein turn rolls thru scenic barn and silo country between Dunkerton and Dewar on the old CGW

With DDGs and ethanol from Hawkeye Renewables near Fairbank, Iowa, the Oelwein turn rounds the bend near Dunkerton.
