It's beautiful spring day as a PAL freight heads south for Paducah.

Outbound LP3 power at Louisville: PAL 2012 and PAL 2013 (UK and UofL SD70MAC's), and PAL 3803 (GP38-2).

LP3 begins the long trip to Paducah as it heads south at Crums Lane. The train departed just in time to be captured during the last half hour of good light on a beautiful Spring evening.

LP3 sits on the main at Shively. Today's consist includes seven GP38-2s: PAL 3807, 3808, 3809, 3800 and three GMTXs.

LP3 departs off the southbound main at Beaver Dam. The sun finally came out at Beaver Dam after chasing LP3 nearly halfway from Louisville to Paducah.

LP3 kicks up snow as it highballs south into West Point.
