| A historic and highly unusual power lashup occurred on the former Boston & Maine Fitchburg Line when two back to back Ferromex units rode a loaded grain train to Ayer and back. A good chunk of the moves where made in daylight and anyone lucky enough to get trackside nabbed an extremely rare sight on Pan Am. The empty grain train is seen approaching the "Airport Crossing" for a crew change on the Rotterdam Branch before being yarded at Rotterdam Junction with 110 empty hoppers for CSXT to pick up. |
