On April 25th, 2014 the crew of Norfolk Southern's T51 made its last run on the N&W's famed "Peavine." Orders were to pick up all equipment, railcars, and a switcher in Winchester, Ohio. In this photo, T51 departs Mt. Zion as the early morning rain subsides. The crew had built the train of the remaining cars on the line here at the siding and tied the locomotive down in Winchester, Ohio overnight. The following morning they retrieved the train and proceeded west for the last time.
