Stormin' through Lincoln
Conrail ME-2 accelerates east through Lincoln Interlocking on track 2 of the Northeast Corridor with three loads for Deans. Trailing is the usual ex-Reading caboose, CR 22137, which is required for reverse moves. The consist of ME-2 had obviously been sitting in Metuchen Yard overnight when about 4-5" of new snow accumulated. As ME-2 accelerated up to track speed that snow was quickly dispersed! |
