In early 1969 the Burlington Route took delivery on an order of 15 SD45s that wore this new color scheme that anticipated the impending Burlington Northern merger. Three of them headed up this eastbound freight stopped momentarily at La Vergne, IL, as it awaited clearance into Cicero Yard.
