The 1912-built Santa Fe passenger depot in Artesia, New Mexico, now serves as the Artesia Chamber of Commerce, as well as a visitors center and the Pecos Valley Dairy Museum. The open waiting room was enclosed and several doors were filled in at some point, but the depot escaped the "southwesternization" that was visited upon Roswell and Carlsbad around 1930. Photographed on August 14, 2017.
