| A view in the upper Reuss valley between Wassen and Göschenen, where you can see tracks on all 3 "levels" of the loops of Wassen. On the uppermost level is train ICN 866 from Chiasso to Zürich, which was run by a highspeed tilting train RABe 503/ETR 610 of the SBB regularly in this timetable period, instead of an ICN RABDe 500. In the left lower corner there are the tracks of the middle "level" between middle Meienreuss bridge and the portal of the middle Entschigtal avalanche protection gallery. The curved tracks a bit above are part of the lowest "level", the "Wattinger curve". On the highway A2 there is a traffic jam towards the Gotthard road tunnel on this beautiful spring saturday. |
