On April 17 of 1977, I was at Princeton Junction, NJ when this coal train (I presume empty, and I presume a coal train) came by making quite a racket. The second unit was an ex Jersey Central SD35. I could be wrong, but it seemed to me that the engines from the roads other than Penn Central got patched first. Maybe it was just that there were so many more PC engines?
