It may look like the Carolinas, but this is actually Alamosa, Colorado. Sitting in the San Luis & Rio Grande yard are Waccamaw Coast Line Railroad F9B 6622 (the WCLR is a shortline in both the Carolinas) and Carolina Southern F7A 9163. Each of these two locomotives were built for Canadian National by Diesel Division of General Motors of Canada, Ltd.: CALA 9163 is ex-WCLR 9163, ex-CN F7Au 9163, née-CN F7A 9116, while WCLR 6622 is ex-VIA 6622, née-CN 6622. (By early 2024, WCLR 6622 would become Railroad Passenger Car Numbering Bureau (RPCX) 6622, still located in Alamosa. Thus, four owners and the number has remained the same!
