Bombardier TRAXX F140 MS 186 # 497 of the Railpool Gmbh, Munich, rented to TR TransRail, pulls the loaded excavation train 67574 from Airolo to Flüelen, between Wassen and Gurtnellen on the Gotthard north ramp. Material produced during the construction of the second tube of the Gotthard road tunnel between Airolo and Göschenen is transported by rail to Flüelen, where it is deposited in Lake Uri (part of Vierwaldstättersee) to form shallow water zones. The cars are of type Sggrrs owned by VTG, consisting of two 4-axle units connected by a rod, with 4 yellow tiltable "Marti" containers . The train of today has 7 of the double cars with a total of 56 axles and a capacity of about 900 ton. Gross load was 1250 ton.
