Remarks & Notes |
Prior to the day's passenger trips, a crew from the Railroad Museum of New England takes an opportunity to utilize Flagg Coal #75 for the purpose for which she was designed...switching cars in the Thomaston Yard. Here, Engineer Bill Sample carefully moves in to couple with an old Pennsy Railway Express car, before moving it north onto a storage track. The backdrop for this operation is one of the many old mill buildings which abut the ROW of the Naugatuck Valley line. |
