In may 2015, about one year before the 57 kilometer long Gotthard base tunnel was officially inaugurated, the Re 460 # 098 of the SBB got a publicity paint scheme (adhesives) "Gottardo 2016" in the SBB workshop in Bellinzona, with small signets of the sponsors of the opening ceremony. Here the locomotive is on its first run with the new paint scheme, on the Gotthard north ramp between Leggistein loop tunnel and Strahlloch tunnel, a rather "hidden place".
