Siemens "Vectron" 193 # 492 of the Hupac, rented to SBB Cargo International, pulls the southbound "Winner" (large forwarder) intermodal train 42001 from Wuppertal-Langerfeld/Germany via Basel-Bözberg-Gotthard and Ceneri Base Tunnels-Chiasso to Piacenza/Italy, between Steinen and Schwyz. Train length was abut 570 meter, weight 1566 ton, which needed a second locomotive between Bellinzona and Chiasso. In the background the Lauerzersee, Rigi Kulm and the village of Steinerberg on the moutain slope. At the edge of the forest behind, you can see the line coming from Arth Goldau, which is behind the forest in the center of the picture. The forest has grown on the deposits of the great landslide of Goldau in 1806.
